Expansion

Maple is getting bigger each day , but we are currently restricting ourselves to a single game, Teeworlds. Let us grow bigger and be a part of more games.

If there are games you like , that you think Maple and his members will like, leave a suggestion.

When we decide on which game(s) we start expanding , I will do a master blog , that will point towards other blog specified for each game. If you suggest the game, you will probably be the leader of the game division of Maple.

Power to the Maple! :D

  1. Well, I play Altitude (www.altitudegame.com). I started a year back or so and have around 600 hours in the air, am semi-pro, and (almost)everyone knows my name. I actually stopped playing teeworlds to get back into altitude because tbh, I like it more.

Altitude is a fairly deep game (nobody's touched the skill ceiling :P), a little bit like teeworlds. Difference? You can fly! There are 5 different planes and a total of 60 setups for each one!

We already have a fairly cool community and stuff for playing serious recorded matches. (We have a ladder as well as a few competitions, like APL, or Altitude Pro League.) It's not a very big population, but it's big enough that new have dozens of good clans.

Perhaps even moreso than TeeWorlds, altitude is a team game with 4 different well played team modes (tbd, 1dm, 1de, and ball)

I would be happy coaching members of the clan to play Altitude, when I have the time. Note that altitude can be played in demo mode for free, but to get all the 'perks', or plane setups, you have to buy the game.

Get altitude, (there's a version for mac, windows and Linux (*.sh file)) and contact me in-game! I'm 'MagneticDuck'.

  2. Oh, and did I mention, Altitude is FRICKING AWESOME?!??!?! The gameplay is awesome and the multiplayer is awesome.. you can chat with friends outside the game... it's really pretty sweet. I highly recommend you come and check it out. If you want, we can find a time for me to give some Maples a demo of altitude (a tour around all the awesome things to look out for) and set up a little scrim to learn how to play like a duck. :P

  3. I'll try the game , and if it is as good as you're saying it is, I will add it to the list on our website(themapleclan.6te.net).

    Thanks for your suggestion. :)
